Who we are

University Of Gloucestershire

About us

Located over three campuses, two in Cheltenham and one in Gloucester, our history spans nearly two centuries, with our earliest Civic history dating back to the Cheltenham Mechanics' Institute in 1834, and our Church history dating back to the Cheltenham Training College established in 1847.

Today, we offer the best of both city and country living, commbining vibrance and innovation with history and beauty.

We continue to invest in new facilities and new courses, improving what we offer for students and meeting the needs of employers and our community. During 2021 we will be introducing new courses (including higher and degree apprenticeships) in nursing and allied health; biomedical sciences; and architecture, construction and the environment.
